 Faisal Amin is the Honorary Investment Consular for the Government of Pakistan in the United States. As the Honorary Investment Consular, Mr.Amin is committed to bringing the highest level of customer service to his clientele – the businesses of Pakistan. After growing up in Houston, Texas, Faisal became involved in several successful business start-ups before embarking on a career in business and public affairs.
Mr. Amin is also the Chairman and CEO of ISA Group of Companies, an international group of professional services companies. He also serves as the President of Texas Trade Council. Mr. Amin has over 15 years experience in the areas of international trade facilitation and negotiations, human capital, knowledge management, organizational design, sales, marketing and strategic planning. An accomplished strategist and marketer, his vision and expertise in business performance have driven notable enterprise growth by building global brands and guiding top-tier companies. Mr. Amin is also aggressively working with the United States government and businesses to further promote bilateral economic development, investment and job creation between the United States and Pakistan. Texas Governor Rick Perry has especially made economic development a priority for his administration and is especially focused to further foster international trade between Pakistan and Texas based companies. As a businessman, Mr. Amin is dedicated to fostering international business and trade activity. He also understands that international business with Texas based companies mean new opportunities for Texans. Mr. Amin was appointed as an Honorary Investment Consular for the Government of Pakistan in the United States in November 2006. He was also awarded Congressional Recognition Award by the United States House of Representatives for his “Dedicated Public Service and efforts to Promote International Trade Policy and Business Advocacy”. As a thought leader in the International business field, he's been interviewed and quoted in a number of international business and trade publications. Equally involved in both civic and professional organizations, he has served on the advisory boards of a number of groups, including the US International Export Academy, Texas Workforce Development Board, Houston West Chamber of Commerce, Asian Chamber of Commerce, South Asian Chamber of Commerce, OCA Greater Houston and The Asian American Studies Center at University of Houston. Mr. Amin and his family live in Houston. He speaks Urdu, of his native country Pakistan, Spanish and of course Texan!
